The Akaflieg München is a hotbed of innovation that has already brought forth many famous airplanes. Entirely under student management, we experiment with the latest aviation technologies and shape the future of the industry with our research.

Our own training for the gliding license is the cheapest way to become a pilot yourself and to get started with this thrilling hobby!

Our Mü 30 "Schlacro" is no ordinary airplane. It is the result of decades of student development work at Akaflieg München – designed, built and flown by students.

The Mü 30's previous engine has done its duty after many flying hours – a serious technical defect makes a rebuild necessary. But we see this as an opportunity: We are upgrading the Mü 30 with a more powerful, more efficient and more environmentally friendly engine – for an even better future in the sky.

However, we are dependent on donations for this expensive conversion. With your contribution, you are supporting cutting-edge student research and securing the future of our unique prototype!
