Als Vorlage dienten die Flugleistungen der alten M\u00fc 10 &#8218;Milan&#8216;, vor allem deren geringes Sinken bei niedriger Geschwindigkeit. Im Vergleich zur M\u00fc 10 wurden einige Bauteile vergr\u00f6\u00dfert, der Rumpf aerodynamisch g\u00fcnstiger gestaltet und die unsymmetrische Fl\u00fcgelteilung aufgegeben.
